A Wrinkle In Time

I was thinking and thinking and thinking and thinking about what would be interesting for me to write about on my blog and it was hard because not that much happens with me..... haha!
This last week however, my mom rented a movie from the Library (our brand new library) and i saw that it was "A Wrinkle In Time" and me and this movie go back...... A year ago i believe it was, Emily had a birthday party and I had to come late and so i stayed extra long that next day because it was a sleepover and the Cunninghams like me more than the other friends. (its true and everyone knows it so deal with it and keep reading even if you are one of her friends and are offended)...;)... so anyways we found 2 liter sodas in her fridge, and a bag of Doritos and we sat there through A wrinkle in time and drank straight from the bottles and ate the Doritos............ and so when i found this movie I laughed and called Emily and she came over the next night. :D And as you can guess it couldn't POSSIBLY be right if we didn't follow tradition...... :p Emily arrived and had two 2 liter sodas and a bag of Doritos!!!! it was SOOOOO much fun and dad was making awesome jokes in the backround about the movie..... We had some interruptions because Dad was emptying out our old entertainment center and trying out all of the electronics right there infront of the TV and so most of the dramatic moments were mixed with Backstreet Boys and the Carpenters christmas album..... It set the mood pretty well i thought ;) It is such a cheesy movie it makes it so awesome! We had a great time making fun of how much of a man the main girl looks like and talks like and how CREEEEEEPY the little boy is, but i guess if you name your child "Charles Wallace" you cant expect him to be cute..... or normal :D

Family weekend

2 weekends ago I got to snuggle with my gorgeous new nephew Benjamin! he is B-E-A-U-TIFUL and as you probably could guess, he loves me 2!!! haha
Liz and Trevor came late friday night so i didnt see them till the morning and Liz brought in the baby to me and scotty in the morning and he was so sweet and quiet. He never cries! well, okay he started to one time when i was holding him...... and i know what your thinkin, but it wasnt cause he didnt like me, it was probably cause he was in a position facing outward which meant he couldnt see my face..... and as u can obviously understand, would make anyone cry! haha. So saturday afternoon we went to anthem park and i tried to fly a kyte, but scott had more success with it than me, and since it was a FISH KYTE of course dad couldnt resist flying it too ;) An then me, dad, mom and lizzy played crokay (and yes i had to look up the correct spelling of that word) and dad kept trying to knock us out of the game which all but he agreed that was cheeting ;)

I got a little sunburned on my face but it was okay cause i got to hold benjamin and play with ethan!!!!! At night afterwards we went to an improve comedy place and it was pretty fun! They did a skit where they read off pieces of paper and worked them into their skit and i wrote "Faaa-bulous!" and they used it for their theme for the whole skit and it was pretty funny! And i just have to add------- My little nephew ETHAN is growing up so fast! he is not a baby anymore--- he is a little boy now! im still waitin on him to say "candice" n heck id even be happy with "candi" :D

10950 dinners!

So my days are usual same old same old, School and just hangin around, but this week it was different. Mom and dad got a call from lizzy saying that she was gonna have the baby on saturday night and they got their stuff together as quick as possible, and drove all night to California. Luckily my Uncle David and Christina gave us a whole bunch of frozen food so we figured we were set for food while mom and dad were gone. I thought when they left it would be fun and i could just do wutever and not have to worry about doing a lotta school. BUT i was so bored without them home that i did my schoolwork to occupy myself. ;) i couldnt believe how much i missed them! I would even try to keep the kitchen clean and wash dishes, and it seemed like every time i came back down to the kitchen it was a miss again! and when dad came home from cali mom was stayin longer so i tried makin real food for dinner (there is only so much frozen food a girl can take), but it was so hard to be creative and think of food to make! I realized "how does mom do this EVERY day!?" and now i have a much bigger appreciation for what she does for us, we calculated it up, and 365 days a year and 30 years, thats 10950 days of JUST dinner meals! thats alot! Mom and dad r home now and im so glad!
